transitional.life publishes literary Companions for life transitions. The texts are cultural observation, not clinical advice, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional mental health care. Free Companions may be downloaded and read personally. Sharing the direct PDF link with a friend is welcome. Redistribution as part of a paid product, course, or platform requires a professional license. The professional license, when purchased, grants the named practitioner or practice the right to share Companions directly with their own clients in perpetuity, subject to the terms agreed at checkout.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by correspondence will be handled by the competent courts of Amsterdam. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
